You have pages for custom golf balls and scorecards, and no page for the corporate events you want to book.
Corporate events, brand activations and weddings each get one short card on your homepage. Your competitors on Google have a full page for each occasion, and planners are asking online for things you have already done, like six holes spread through an office in Big Pink.
cascadiaputtingclub.com, September 14, 202619 pages, 3 broken linksPublic data only
Ahrefs estimates your site gets no visitors from Google searches today. We checked 21 searches a Portland planner might type, from “mini golf rental portland” to “team building activities portland,” and you are not on the first page for any of them. Search your business name and you come up first.
What sells on your site is good: prices with guest counts and floor space, an FAQ that answers venues, and reviews from named people. What is missing is a page for each kind of event, your own photos on those pages, and reviews where planners look. The changes below are ranked.
Each one answers a question a real planner posted this year and leads to one of your new pages.
Item 1
Every page we tested is slower than Google’s standard on a phone
Google counts a page as good when its main content appears within 2.5 seconds. None of the seven pages we tested did on a simulated phone. The slowest was the Oregon Zoo write-up, which downloaded 18.2 MB, 15.8 MB of it images.
Seconds until the main content appeared on a phone
Google’s Lighthouse test in Chrome, phone setting, September 14, 2026. A lab test, not your visitors’ own data.
On a desktop connection the same pages took 2.2 to 3.8 seconds. Your homepage still downloads 9.6 MB there, 8.5 MB of it images.
On the heaviest pages, most of the weight is photos uploaded far larger than they appear on screen. Your photos are one of the best things about the business, so keep all of them and upload smaller copies. The About page is light and still slow, so test again once the photos are done.
Item 2
You have 4 Google reviews, and the companies on the map for your searches have 133 to 424
When a Portland planner searches for corporate event entertainment or party rentals, Google shows a map of companies with star ratings and review counts. You don’t appear on either map. Your profile has a 5.0 rating from 4 reviews.
Google reviews: you, and the companies Google Maps shows for two planner searches
Map results for “corporate event entertainment portland” and “party rentals portland,” searched from Portland, September 14, 2026. They sell DJs and party rentals, not mini golf, but they are who a planner sees.
Every organizer you have worked with can leave one: the Oregon Zoo, UpStart Collective, the Soapbox Derby, Dallas Days, Helvetia Market, Central Bethany, the Carlton Business Association and Loyal Legion. Send each a direct link to your review form after the event.
Listings that come up when planners search
Travel Portland. Its team building directory is the first result for “team building activities portland” and lists Birdie Time Pub for mini golf. You aren’t in it. The route is its partnership page. Ask whether partnership puts you in the directory, because the page doesn’t say.
GigSalad comes up for Portland corporate and party entertainment, and offers a free membership.
Yelp comes up for Portland corporate events, and says business pages are free to claim.
WeddingWire comes up for Portland wedding entertainment, and has a vendor signup.
Eventective already lists you. Check that its details are right (see “What to send back”).
Items 3 to 7
The companies planners find have one page for each kind of event
Your homepage gives corporate events, brand activations and weddings one sentence each. The pages Google shows for Portland corporate, company picnic, holiday party and team building searches are each built for that one occasion, and every company behind them has pages for the others too.
Pages for each occasion: you, and four companies Google shows planners
Read on September 14, 2026. A filled dot means we found the page. An empty one means we didn’t.
Occasion
Cascadia Putting Club
Portland PartyWorks
Interactive Entertainment Group
National Event Pros
Adventure Games
Corporate events
Company picnics
Team building
Holiday parties
Weddings
Brand activations or trade shows
PartyWorks’ company picnic page is the first result for “company picnic entertainment portland.” Interactive Entertainment Group’s Portland corporate page lists giant mini golf among its games.
The occasions are also where the searches are. Across the US, more people search each month for trade show booth ideas or corporate event entertainment than for mini golf rental.
Monthly US searches: occasions, and mini golf rental
Ahrefs, September 2026. Portland is a share of each.
Searches for what you rentSearches for the occasion
Searches ending in “ideas” come from people still deciding. Item 12 answers those with articles that lead to these pages.
What the pages Google shows have that your cards don’t
The occasion and Portland in the page title. “Company Picnic Rentals Portland,” “Portland Team Building Activities & Corporate Events.”
Venues a planner knows. Providence Park and the Rose Quarter on the picnic page, The Treasury Ballroom and The Sentinel Hotel on the holiday page.
Planner facts. Packages by group size, “approximately 40 players per hour” for nine holes, and “we can process a purchase order” for companies.
Questions for that occasion. One corporate page answers “What venue details should we have ready?” Your FAQ answers general ones.
What each of your pages can lead with
Corporate events and team building: six holes spread through UpStart Collective’s office on the fifth floor of Big Pink, where Mayor Keith Wilson stopped by, and three evenings at Oregon Zoo Nights. On Reddit, the most upvoted advice on team events was to hold them “during regular work hours,” and another planner asked for “no bars.” A course that comes to the office answers both. For company picnics, say it needs no music, which matters at venues with noise rules.
Holiday parties: indoor setup, light-up golf balls after dark, and the 18-hole course for 100 or more guests.
Community events and festivals: the Soapbox Derby from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with players “from little kids to grandparents,” Dallas Days, the Bethany Village concert series, Carlton Crush and the Loyal Legion block party.
Weddings: cocktail hour, golf balls printed with the wedding date, and an answer for guests in heels. You don’t have a wedding write-up yet, so this page needs photos from your first one.
Brand activations and trade shows: logo golf balls ($150 for 48) and scorecards, the lead capture your homepage offers, and the three-hole setup you used at the zoo. Agencies and national game renters take these searches today, so this page ranks last of the five.
Item 8
Your event write-ups are your best proof, and their photos come from Instagram
Each write-up shows your Instagram posts inside the page. A planner sees the Instagram frame, and Google sees Instagram’s photos, not yours. For the corporate write-ups, the photos that sell are people from the office playing.
Your own photo files, on the page, resized as in item 1, each with a caption naming the event and the venue.
A facts line a planner can scan. The stories already hold the facts. Soapbox Derby: nine holes, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., mid-track beside the food carts. Big Pink: six holes through an office floor. Oregon Zoo: three holes in Discovery Plaza, light-up balls after dark.
Titles. All five end in “Cascadia Putting CLub,” with a capital L. A title like “Mobile Mini Golf at Oregon Zoo Nights” also names what you do.
Links to the new occasion pages. The portfolio’s Corporate Event, Wedding and Community Event tabs all open a page-not-found today. Point them at items 3 to 7.
The events only on Instagram. Carlton Crush with the Carlton Business Association, where you debuted the loop-de-loop hole, the Loyal Legion block party, and the RC Rallstars have no write-up.
Item 9
Your prices are public, and nothing next to them says why yours cost more
A planner comparing tabs sees your six holes from $999 beside cheaper courses. Your packages already include what explains the gap: an attendant for the whole event, custom-designed holes, setup and teardown. Your $2 million insurance and the certificate you give venues sit only on the FAQ.

Your homepage title is “Portland Party Entertainment | Mobile Mini Golf for Events.” The pages that come up for “mini golf rental portland” put the word “rental” in their titles, and yours doesn’t.
Your menu’s Pricing link jumps to a section of the homepage. Give pricing a page of its own with the packages, what each includes, the golf ball and scorecard add-ons, the 50% deposit, and what changes a quote.
Item 10
Your About page introduces you, and says little about what the company has done
It covers your 20 years in marketing and events, groups “from 20 people to 20,000+,” growing up in Portland, and your standards. A corporate planner checking whether you can handle their event won’t find the Oregon Zoo, Big Pink, the Soapbox Derby or anything else the company has run.
On the page now
Your background, and three promises: communication, reliability, details.
What a planner looks for
Events the company has run and for whom, the towns you cover, insurance, and a photo of the course set up.
Keep your story. Add the company’s beside it.
Item 11
Your town pages need a reason to exist beyond the town’s name
Beaverton, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego and Vancouver each have a page, and no page on your site links to any of them. With the town name taken out, their text is 98 to 99 percent the same.
How a visitor reaches your town pages today
Every link on your site, September 14, 2026.
Every page’s menu and footerThe footer names Portland, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, Hillsboro and Vancouver as plain text
No links
Beaverton0 links in
Vancouver0 links in
Hillsboro0 links in
Lake Oswego0 links in
Rewriting the same page four ways won’t fix this. One competitor’s town pages are as alike as yours, and none of them comes up for its town either. The local pages that do come up name places. National Event Pros’ Beaverton page names Jenkins Estate and fUSe Studios, and quotes a client from Bethany Village, where you also ran an event.
For each town, add the events you have run there, the venues you have set up in, and photos from those events, then link the town names in your footer to their pages. A town where you haven’t worked yet can wait until you have. The Beaverton page’s title also reads “Mobile Mini GHolf.”
Item 12
Once the pages exist, write the answers planners are asking for online
This year planners posted questions on Reddit that your course answers, and in the threads below nobody suggested a mini golf rental. Each article starts from one of those questions, answers it honestly, and ends on the page for that occasion. Two more questions, a vineyard outing where music was banned and a block party wanting daytime family entertainment, belong on the corporate and community pages instead.

Wedding lawn games guests actually play

what was popular with your guests? From a couple with no DJ, so the games are the reception. The pushback: In high heels and wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses?? r/wedding, June 6.
Searched
wedding reception games 600 a month, wedding lawn games 250, mini golf rental for wedding 50.

“Cocktail hour, upgraded,” and golf balls printed with the wedding date. Photos from your first wedding will carry this one.

Weddings, item 6.
Each article answers the question first and names your course last
Open with the answer the planner asked for, including options you don’t sell, then show the event you ran that fits. Use the planner’s own words as headings, because those are the words the next planner types. An AI can draft the structure, but the stories and photos have to be yours.
Your Instagram post “Four reasons to book mini golf for your next event” is an article outline you have written.
Search counts are Ahrefs’ monthly estimates for the whole US, because Portland’s share of each is too small to report reliably. Quotes are copied as written from threads posted between April and September 2026.
Already done well
What not to touch
Package cards with price, guests, play time and floor space.
The FAQ: insurance, floors, rain, cancellation and deposit.
Reviews from named people at named organizations.
The custom golf balls page: price, lead time and artwork formats.
The stories in your event write-ups.
You come up first when someone searches your business name.
What to send back
Four answers that sharpen this list
How many guests an hour each course handles. Mini Golf On The Go publishes 40 an hour for nine holes, and corporate planners compare.
Which towns you have run events in, and a venue in each. That decides what goes on each town page.
Whether you have done a wedding yet, and photos if so.
Whether 5441 South Macadam Avenue STE N, shown on your Eventective listing, is an address you want public. Your Google profile shows none.
Methods and limits
How this was made
Every page linked on your site was fetched on September 14, 2026: 19 pages and 3 broken links.
Load times come from Google’s Lighthouse test run in Chrome on a simulated phone, not from real visitors’ data.
Google results were checked as a Portland searcher sees them, for 21 searches, including the map results and review counts.
Search counts are Ahrefs’ US monthly estimates. Competitor pages were read in full on the same day.
Planner questions come from seven Reddit threads opened in Chrome.
Not checked: Search Console, the inside of your Google Business Profile, other sites that link to you, and PartySlate and Thumbtack, which blocked us. Where we say you aren’t listed, we mean you weren’t in the results we could read.
